Close Call

Tonight while driving home from my parents house we had a close call. We were driving down the freeway when we saw a car (coming the other way) that veered into the median. Well on this stretch a freeway it is not a median so much as a burrow pit. Well the car ended up coming through the burrow pit and then rolling across the freeway in front of us. I was pretty sure we were going to hit the car. Everything was moving in slow motion and I could see the driver of the car as the car was rolling. The car rolled about 6 or 7 times. Luckily we barely missed the car. John got out of the car while I called 911. The driver of the car was unconscious and hurt pretty badly. They ended up bringing in life flight to take her to the hospital. The whole thing left me shaking and very glad that my family was okay.

Crazy... Glad you were all okay. We ended up stuck behind the accident for 40 minutes. The care looked horrible.

I'm so glad that you guys are okay!I hope the lady will be alright. Do you know what caused her to swerve over?

On the news they said that she was trying to avoid another car that was making a lane change into her lane.

Good thing John kept his wits about him. Had he tried some violent evasive manuever you could have been in the same predicament as the lady that rolled.

Good thing Ross backed into the bushes on the way out. The time John took to laugh at him probably just slowed him up enough so he had the necessary room to get out of the way.

OH I am so glad that you are all alright, how scary! in some ways thank goodness you were there to call 911.

OH and by the way, I was laughing at the soap post below. kids! and we did put a lock the the kids doors, I hated doing it at first but now it has been heaven, to know that they are safe, and I can check on them and unlock it when they are asleep.
